Helpless Plug

Ok everyone this is very important. Parents Magazine is having a cover model search and well since Matteo is the cutest thing around I had to enter him. Now they would like friends and family to rate, recommend and post a comment for there favorite baby. This means every one must follow this link and tell the world how adorable Matteo is and that he should be the next cover model. Just in case you forgot how cute he was here is a reminder photo:

Now if your missed the link above click here and go rate, recommend and add your comments!!
(it doesn't take long about 1 min!)

Thank You.

Cathing Up

We have been a busy crew around these parts. A few weekends ago we had Sam's "kid" birthday party at the park. It was a soccer theme, so Mario came out and helped us do soccer games and drills. The kids really seemed to have a great time. A couple days before the party we had a heat wave here on the central coast and they were predicting high 90's for party day. So at the last minute we grabed a small pool and water guns to have. Those were a big hit. Here are a few pictures from the day:
Ready Set GO!!

Serafina and her best bud Ethan!

Then on Sunday we headed out to the beach to cool off. Noni, Karlee, Jeremy, and the Regusci 5 had a blast running in and out of waves. Mommy was not planning on getting any more then her feet wet and ended up soak to her waist!! Oh well. Noni was the one who convinced us to go because just a few days earlier had taken Serafina and the two of them had a blast. After Serafina got wiped out from a huge wave (she rolled underwater) Noni thought the beach was all over. But no, she got up and said "Wow that was scary. Lets do it again!" My daughter the dare devil.

There is a tiny update on your family. We have been staying busy with life and I will hopefully get a few more post of soon. Hope you all are well out there!

First Swing

Here on the central coast we have been having some nice hot weather which sent my mottly crew to play the park. While there I decide to see if Matteo wanted to test out the swings. He was very excited to be swinging alongside the big kids! I left my camera at home but managed to grab a couple pictures with my phone. We couldn't miss his very first swinging moment at the park!

I know he looks a little worried in this one, but trust me he was having fun!

May 6th

On May 6th our little Sam turned 6 years-old. It is amazing how fast they grow up and change. Since his preschool has a kindergarten program we kept him there for his kindergarten year. Which means we did not have the big changing to elementary school which means I have not had to face that he is growing up. But now that he has turned six and I registered him for school, I am realizing he will be in 1st grade!! That just seems so old to me. He has grown up so much in the last few months, taking on more responsibility and really becoming the leader amongst our clan. When I look at him he no longer has that baby-toddler-preschool look, he looks like a big-kid!! We are so proud of our little Sam and are excited for his new and fun year ahead.

So how did we celebrate this occasion? We gathered our family whom lives in town (20) and all went out to Yanagi for dinner at the Teppan tables, a family favorite. Everyone had a great time and of course the food was wonderful. Afterwards everyone came home to enjoy in birthday cake. We are going to have a kid party with 6 of his good friends on Saturday but until then here are a few pictures from the evening.

4 great-grand parents and 2 grandparents all in a row!! (the other 4 grandparents where present just not pictured! Don't do the math it wont add up, we are just blessed!)

Sam was trying to catch a shrimp in his mouth!

His soccer cake, the Saturday party is a Soccer theme!

Our Mother's Day

Over the last 3yrs I have learned that Mother's Day can be one of those days that you plan on sleeping in and the kids and your husband being wonderful and the birds sing outside, however in reality the baby still gets hungry, still spits up and the kids still fight and whine. Thanks to the best Mother-in-Law anyone could ask for she has taught me you just have to plan your day and move forward with a smile on. Besty (my mother-in-law, aka Noni) wanted to go climb Madonna Mountian with her family and then go on a picnic. That sounded like a blast to me so I made my family load up and join them on the hill. We had an absolutely wonderful time. Matt backpack Serafina and Uncle-David backpack Matteo. Sam our trouper (who is now 6, I will post this week about his birthday) hiked they entire 2hr hike!! We were so proud of him. After the hike we grabed a pinic lunch and head out to dinosaur cave park. Mario and Gio kept the kids running tossing a footbal around so when we finally got home the kids took an asome nap. Then we headed over to Trevors house where he and Jen cook a fun cheese fondue dinner for us all. The cheese was accutly in a fountain!! Very cool. Thank you to all my family for making it a wonderful Mother's Day. (oh one last thing, Matt did let me sleep in!) My mother day dreams came true!!

Sam had to be just like the big boys!
(did I mention it was hot?)

Karlee found a snake on the trail and Gio decide to move it.

We couldn't get Sam any closer to the snake for a picture.

Sam and Nono in the far of distance, just feet away from the top!

The Boys at the tippy tippy top!

The whole clan at the top of Madonna Mountain!

Mother's Day

Just wanted to wish all the mommies out there a Happy Mother's Day!

May your children shower you with love and hugs and not fight, or drool, or want anything today.

We are here

The last post was quite a while ago, I hope I have not lost my fan group. We have been busy with life around, which I plan on blogging about once I have a couple minutes and all my pictures on hand. (I find blogs more exciting when there are a few pictures to go along). With that the boys went on a train trip Thursday down to Santa Barbra. As in true Jamie form my dad did not let us down and created a beautiful picture story on his web site. So go check it out.
