A Day at the Zoo

After a four days of no school, we decide to load up the kids and take them to the Santa Barbara Zoo. We all had a great day even thought I believe Sam was fighting a cold or tummy ache the whole day. He was a little on the slow side and didn't care to eat much but he powered through nothing was going to stop him from seeing all the animals. Here are a few pictures from our day.

Sam and Serafina inside a birds egg. The Zoo is being re molded right now and this is part of a new play area!! The kids thought it was really cool. They even had this spider web thing for them to climb on.

Serafina got the chance to feed a giraffe, and loved it!

She was very proud after feeding the giraffe.

At the end of the day we let the kids spend there money in the gift shop. Sam bought and play snake and Serafina bought stickers and a book. This monkey was going to be Matteo's prize but some how he got set down and never bought!! Sorry kid!

Out of order picture, this is us getting read to enter the Zoo. Lynn is behind the camera.

Ok I know this picture is on it's side but I don't feel like fixing it right now. Maybe later.

That was our day at the Zoo. I still plan on blogging about our Easter one of these days. Hope you all had a great Spring Break.

My how they grow!

When we headed out to the snow Serafina stayed here with family. One night she went down and stayed with her Uncle Trevor and Aunt Jennifer. For those of you who don't know they have moved into are old house. They let her take a bubble bath in what was my parents old tub. The funny thing is I was going back through pictures and had pictures of Serafina in the same tub exactly 2 yrs earlier! So with out hesitation. Pictures from bubble bath present and past.

Always on the Go

If anyone out there has been wondering where the Regusci's have gone hopefully this post will we get you back up to speed. Around here we always seem to be on the go and March has been no different. After my last blogs weeks ago we packed up the boy's and headed up to Shaver Lake for some snow action with our good friends The Mansfield's. We had the best time and it was so relaxing. The Mansfield's have one little boy the same age as Sam so we opted to leave Serafina at home. The boys had so much fun and we adults were able to relax because they entertained each other. Of course Matteo was with us but he just lays around still. We rented a gorgeous house that had a huge backyard with a sliding area all ready built so we never left the property. The funnest part had to have been when the big boys decide to try and make Monopoly into a drinking game!! But that is for a latter conversation.

This is a picture off the back deck. The boys are amidst a snow ball fight!

This is the beginning of the sliding hill.

This is the end. You can't even see the end in this picture as the trail wraps around the trees!

On our last night Brain decide that the boys need to do some night time sliding!

After that crazy weekend my mom and I threw a baby shower for our friend Summer. But that was not all, my mom was in the middle of report cards and the shower was on a Friday afternoon, which meant I had to do a lot of preparation for it! The shower was well worth it, ever one had a great time and in all honesty my Mom and I had a lot of fun pulling it together.

This is Summer, she is due April 25th with a little girl. (I don't believe it is a girl, but we will find out soon!)

Our beautiful cupcakes decorated by yours truly!

We love to hang a clothes line, makes a great decoration and the mom gets a whole outfit!

What baby shower is complete without a chocolate fountain?

Now it seems as if Easter has just popped up on us. We have had Sam's Spring show this week, all the Easter parties at the kids schools on top of our normal week. I must say even though we have been busy, I do love it. And if we were not all ready unprepaired for Easter I decide tonight I would make Easter cookies for my Mom's class. So the last picture of the post is of the Bunny cookies that will be making there way down to my Mom's school tomorrow!

If I don't get another post out by Sunday, I hope you all have a wonderful Easter.

Two Different Kids

It is a amazing to me how two kids from the same gene pool can be so different! This morning I pulled out one of the gender neutral items we had from Serafina and tried it on Matteo. (Thank you Uncle David). To my surprise it fit him perfectly almost to tight. Serafina was wearing this outfit at 7 months. Matteo is a mere 4 months and out growing it. Above is Serafina (7 months)and below is Matteo (4 months)!! We went to the doctor yesterday and Matteo is 15lbs 2oz and 25inch long!! You go guy.

The Swing Set

I know you all have been checking my blog ever hour to find out the second part of thursday nights fun. Well here it is...

Yes, I used part of our tax refund and purchase the swing set from costco! The best part was suprising my hubsand when he got home thrusday night by having the 5 boxes and slide sitting in his parking spot. We quickly learned that not one part came pre-assembled. I honestly had no idea how many parts a little swing set could have. I wanted to post pictures of the hard working crew we had here sunday who to put this bad boy together but alas my computer is being weird so I was limited. Maybe latter I will post a pictures of the construction.
We had Matt, Nono (Grandpa), and Mario working on it Sunday from 11:00am-7:00pm. Uncle Jon came over and helped out in between working on Taxes and our good friend Rob showed up around 2ish to lend a hand. The boys only had one major error but manged to solve the problem quickly, by flipping an entire side of the playground around. Since it took until 7:00pm to finish the kids didn't get a chance to try it out until tonight. Boy were they excited!! Again we found ourselves outside until there was no light left.

The best part of it all is my Husband still loves me, even though ever part of his body is sore. Before ending this post I want to say a big thank you to our work crew, with out you the playground would still be in boxes. Also a thank you to Uncle Trevor and So-To-Be-Auntie Jen who cooked a fabulous beef rib dinner for us all to enjoy after a hard day work.

Thank You Everyone For Your Help!!
