Sunday Adventures

This weekend was HOT! And we had my aunt and uncle visiting us from Kansas City. When it is hot and you have family visiting what better thing to do then go wine tasting. But wait we have 3 kids and no sitter, what are we to do?
Take the kids wine tasting!
Yes we decide on Sunday to load the whole family up and head out to Justin Winery to do some wine tasting with my Uncle Rob and Aunt Vicki. My grandfather Bill (popop) also out from Kansas, tagged along too. We had a great time. My parents are wine club members there so we were able to taste wine in a private room. There was also a mini golf area outside that the kids had fun hitting/rolling golf balls around. We also went on a cave tours where Justin keeps all its wine, which the kids enjoyed because it was cold inside!! So if you are looking for a fun family activity some weekend you should give wine tasting a try!

Easter

Well it has been very busy around here but I have finally found a moment to do a little post on Easter!! We had a great Easter. The kids found their Easter baskets right after waking up and then we headed out to church where the kids had the chance to participate in an Easter egg hunt. After church we head over the the kids Great -Grandpa's (Bish-Nono) house for and Easter Lunch/dinner and a huge Easter egg hunt. They thought that a couple other kids would be come who ended up staying home so my little rugrats had 92 eggs to find!! It was a blast. After all the eggs were found the kids had fun re hiding them and searching again and again. What a great day.

(I am having problems moving pictures so bear with the order)

Serafina hunting eggs with Gio. Serafina thinks Gio is the best!

As I was trying to get a picture of Matteo the kids decided to add some eggs to the shot!

Our attempt at a family photo.

Matt left me at home , yes that is a peep!

The kids with their baskets.

I am very sad to say that we took some really cute four generation pictures at Bish-Nono house but not with my camera! So I will have to hunt down the person with them and post them later. So happy belated Easter!

Friday Night Fun

Matt and I both have been striving to become healthier humans. In doing so we have both managed to make exercising part of our daily routine. I have found a wonderful class called stroller strides, a class were we put our babies in strollers and the instructor takes on a fast pace walk and we stop and do arm and leg workouts. It really is a lot of fun and I have made some great friends. And let me tell you it is quite a workout running up a hill pushing a double jogger with 40lbs of kids in it!! Matt on the other had has taken to the gym during his lunch hour where he spends a good portion of his time weight lift. Where is this all going.....well the other night our quiet evening in quickly turned into a weight lifting competition using none other then the kids.....

Matt won the contest as the heaviest kid I could lift was....
Matteo!!

Sam managed to lift Matteo

Then everyone wanted mommy to hold them!!

It is my believe that sometimes the evenings that are not planned can become the best family fun nights. What do your families do for fun at night?

Bitter Creek

We have a few people in this house that love trains. Because of this we often find ourselves and many different train events. The last few weekends have been full and some weekends coming up are full. The kids favorite is Bitter Creek. There they have 7 1/2 gauge trains that you can ride around on a pretty extensive track to say the least. We were there a couple of weekends ago and then last week Sam spent the whole day out there with Daddy and Papa. According to the boys he rode trains non stop from 9am-2pm. The thing that cracks me up is every morning this week I hear the kids playing "Going to Bitter Creek" in the living room. So for their train loving Granddad he should be proud, all they want to do is go to Bitter Creek. In fact they are packed and ready to go right now!!

Our Auntie Candace

This is a post for our Auntie Candace, a very talented knitter! Sam came down stairs this morning in a sweater she knit so I took the opportunity to snap a picture of the kids with a few of there hand crafted gifts from Candace. Candace lives about 5hr from us, so she gets to come down often enough that we miss her when she is gone. The kids were very excited to pose with their hat, blanket and sweater. To Candace, Thanks for keeping us nice and warm on these cool mornings, love the Regusci Kids!!

I had to add this picture because this is pacifier clip Candace knit for Matteo. If you can not tell it is an elephant and his trunk is holding on to the pacifier!! It really is the coolest clip!
