Thought of the Day

Society thinks it is perfectly acceptable to dress small dogs in clothing,

carry them around in tummy packs, or purses

and push them in strollers.....

YET

Look at me like I have lost my mind and seriously dove off the deep end when they find out we have 4 kids, and might not be done?!?

Please explain.

Apparently you need to cut out haircuts, encourage more pretend play, change their names to doggy names and dress them in cuter clothes?

Oh wait, you forgot one thing: PEOPLE ARE STUPID!!! And rude. Very rude.

I also think it is funny that many of the same people who are completely against large families also look forward to government programs like Social Security, medicare, etc. Someone has to perpetually prop up the government ponzi scheme; Tracy and I volunteer.

Oh wait, I got one for you...

The yarn store has a policy of "Service Dogs Only". I have a couple of customers that think we shouldn't allow kids if we don't allow dogs?! Since when did dogs get bumped to the status of "child"? (However I would have loved to crate train my child!)

By the way, awesome pic!

haha, i'm laughing at janice's conclusion--SO VERY TRUE!

matt makes a great point too. don't get me started. :)

and yeah, it makes NO SENSE. from a historical perspective, it was seriously not THAT long ago when people WERE having several children. basically with the advent of the birth control pill, society experienced a shift, and now you're CRAZY to have more than about three kids.

all of that to say, i DON'T know why people are so into pets, and so ANTI kids. i saw someone pushing a dog in a stroller once. i about died.

grrrrrrrr!!!! :) love your heart and your thoughts tracy!
